Who We Are and What We Do

Southentic Foods was founded three years ago in Greater Mumbai with the brand name Magic Pan. At Magic Pan, we served delicious Neer Dosas, a variety of Idli dishes, Idiyappam, and many other delightful South Indian dishes with our varied and unique chutneys and sambar.

All our offerings are gluten-free, sugar-free, 100% vegetarian and completely organic. Our consistency in delivering tasty dishes that satisfy the taste buds is well appreciated, making us the favorite destination for authentic organic South Indian dishes. Consistency in taste is important for our regular customers, which we are always able to provide successfully. We deliver top-notch food items with an eye for nutrient value.

Our food quality has been experienced by people all over Mumbai. But we are determined to not stop with just a single city. We are taking our business throughout the country and soon outside the country as well, where there is a demand for authentic South Indian food inspired by Grandma’s cooking.

The Founder

Prakash and Veena – partners in life and in business, both are deeply committed to healthy lifestyle choice. "Three years ago, we started Magic Pan in Borivali, Mumbai. It was a small-scale affair and we served only NeerDosas with our authentic chutneys, which includes coriander and mint chutney, tomato and red chilly chutney, horse gram chutney, and jaggery and tender coconut chutney. Soon after, we started making a variety of Idlis, which became very popular in the Bandra and Juhu organic farmers’ markets."

Our menu is a hot seller. Yes, the name has changed from Magic Pan to Southentic Foods, but customers can expect the same organic authentic and healthy touch to our South Indian offerings, with that touch of simplicity and uniqueness that everyone has come to love and cherish.
